Romney Is A Christian, Rev. Franklin Graham Is Dead Wrong

Rev. Franklin Graham: Romney Not a Christian

I sent my comments to Rev. Graham and Newsmax, plus a copy of what Graham said about Romney. I told Newsmax about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints--and that the name itself speaks to the fact that all of its followers are Christians, baptized followers of Jesus Christ. In fact, you could be a Christian and not join any specific church, as long as you follow Christ's example, help your fellow man, and publicly avow that Christ is the long-awaited Messiah, the Savior of the world, our personal savior and redeemer, the Only Begotten Son of God.  What a sad commentary about America and  the world today that someone like Graham can set himself up as a critic and expert on which he knows some people rely to say who is and who isn't a Christian. Frankly, what he is and does smacks a lot of Priest craft, which God told us to beware of.  And he's warning about anti-Christs? Don White. Windermere, Florida.

The Rev. Franklin Graham says presidential candidate Mitt Romney is not a Christian.

Appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe show, Graham was asked whether Romney is a Christian.

Graham said he likes Romney, but added, “He’s a Mormon.”

When one of the hosts suggested Romney still is part of the “Judeo-Christian faith,” Graham responded: “Most Christians would not recognize Mormons as part of the Christian faith.”

“I’m just saying that most Christians would not recognize Mormonism. Of course they believe in Jesus Christ. They believe in a lot of other things, too, that we don't accept theologically.”

Graham said he would not have an issue with Romney's becoming president.

“He would be a good president if he won the nomination because I think he’s got the strength, business-wise, politics-wise. He’s sharp guy. And he's proven himself,” Graham said.

But the respected evangelist noted that former Sen. Rick Santorum is the one candidate who shares his beliefs more than the others.

“I would say on moral issues, no question, Rick Santorum,” Graham said.

“He's a very sharp guy as far as his Christian faith being more in line but all of them are when it comes to policy and running the country. You’ve got to have a person make good decisions that are best for all of us, and I think all the candidates that are running are capable men.”

Graham also praised Newt Gingrich.

“Now Newt’s been married several times. He has those issues. But he could make a good candidate. And I think Newt is a Christian. At least he told me he is.”

During his presidential bid, Romney has touted his strong religious faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. A devout Mormon, he served as an elder in his church and tax records show he tithes to it as well, having donated millions of dollars to the church.

Can Prayer Cause Lightning, Stop Bar Construction?

Texas Beer Joint Sues Church In Mt.Vernon, Texas, Drummond's Bar began construction on expansion of their building to increase their business.
In response, the local Baptist Church started a campaign to block the bar from expanding with petitions and prayers. Work progressed right up
until the week before the grand reopening when lightning struck the bar and it burned to the ground! After the bar burning to the ground by a
lightning strike, the church folks were rather smug in their outlook, bragging about "the power of prayer ", until the bar owner sued the church
on the grounds that the church . . ."was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building, either through direct or indirect actions or means."
In its reply to the court, the church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise.
