This is to correct some errors I made when I described my friend and tutor Chris Young. He's a fantastic assist to me and others in our desires to find names and do family history. I look up to him and admire him greatly. You would too if you knew him. Don

I really appreciate your complements about me but they are undeserved.
I just want to do my
best to help where I can.  BTW I am not a direct decendant of Brigham
Young although we have common ancestry in Ireland and Scotland.  And,
there are 119 generations to Adam.  You should go to Ohanasoftware.com
then to support and Lessons.  Go through each lesson a few times and
then you will really understand how to clean up your paf files and
sinc them into new.familysearch.org.  It is truly the best and easiest
program out there.  I will spend whatever time you need to get you on
the right track.You are awesome on the internet with your blogs.

Can Prayer Cause Lightning, Stop Bar Construction?

Texas Beer Joint Sues Church In Mt.Vernon, Texas, Drummond's Bar began construction on expansion of their building to increase their business.
In response, the local Baptist Church started a campaign to block the bar from expanding with petitions and prayers. Work progressed right up
until the week before the grand reopening when lightning struck the bar and it burned to the ground! After the bar burning to the ground by a
lightning strike, the church folks were rather smug in their outlook, bragging about "the power of prayer ", until the bar owner sued the church
on the grounds that the church . . ."was ultimately responsible for the demise of his building, either through direct or indirect actions or means."
In its reply to the court, the church vehemently denied all responsibility or any connection to the building's demise.
